IRA CONSULTING LLC -- International Professional Speaker, Sales Professional, Trainer, Sales Manager 1971 – present: Motivational trainer and keynote for businesses, non-profit educational organizations, and colleges, including personal development, business communication, sales, customer service, and collections. Trained thousands of sales professionals in U.S., Europe, and Australia; have given over 4,000 presentations; have helped generate $450 million in combined company revenues over the past 20 years. As a sale professional Ira always achieved top productivity and won many sale incentive trips and awards.

Lifetime Home Improvements: 2013 to present opened a home improvement company we did over $350,000 in sales in first four month season. Ira organized and built web site and many trade shows. Also in that year worked as consultant for GID successful in list building and email marketing campaign. In the first few months of business 2014 we over $500,000 in revenues. Completed land development project and sale of $500,000 subdivision called Forest Hills Iowa. Revenues reached $900,000 in 2014.

MUM Online Consultant: 2011 to 2012 Gathering and creating targeted mail list grew list from $500 to over 50,000 and introduced wholesale course marketing companies increasing exposure to millions of online course seekers..

 

 

MAPI 2009 to 2011 a Ayurvedic Herbal Company: Department head for on-line sales, product on-line development and overall strategic marketing. He increased web sales from $35,000 to $125,000 in 7 months with an average of $100,000 a month in online sales. Created and over all increase net sales with an integrated marketing plan for all sales channels by $1,000,000 in 14 months. This represented a 20% growth in business. He designed a national media campaign and assisted in call center recruiting and management.

NATURAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES 2008 – 2009 Company sells unique products for massage therapists and days spa’s) VP of Marketing and Director: Designed Company’s entire marketing program and product line, including print ads, e-marketing, web development and affiliate marketing. Wrote and designed all brochures, marketing materials, sale scripts.

Attended trade shows. Under his management revenues increased 25% above any previous period from incoming calls, on-line sales and distributor sales. He increased company profits to highest level by 12.5% during worst economic downturn in Spa industry. He managed and increased the company database from 7,000 clients to 15,000 qualified clients and prospects. While developing strategies and products for follow-up sales, he was also the top producer in direct telephone event sales.

PLANB FOR HEALTH 2002 -2007 This company provided low cost medical discount cards both alternative health as well as allopathic. VP Sales and Marketing: CEO Developed and managed discount medical card business. Designed CRM – Website and created all marketing sales scripts as well as product offerings. Hired and trained ten sales people. Recruited over 500 independent health insurance agents. Organized and presented monthly Teleseminars to hundreds of agents. Company revenues were over $1,500,000.

USA GLOBAL LINK, Fairfield, IA, 1999 – 2000 Vice President, Sales and Marketing: Developed and trained sales team for Global Online advertising sales and a product called Instant Call. He was very successful in sales for major corporate accounts. Developed marketing strategy and created advanced sales for Global Online launch. Our team pre-sold the entire 500-page Web site. Designed and consulted on development of internal integration systems and sales force automation.

 

TELEGROUP, INC., Fairfield, IA, 1993-99 International Director of Sales 1998–99: Reported directly to senior vice president of retail sales of this publicly-traded global telecommunications company with annual sales of $400 million. I created the in-house retail sales program for Pan-Pacific sales. Developed and designed infrastructure, employee contracts, marketing, recruiting, and corporate structure. Recruited and trained multilingual in-house sales agents who sold to corporate customers and high-volume residential users in Pacific region. Gave corporate and keynote presentations on sales, motivation, and telecommunications in Australia.

Sales Manager and Corporate Trainer 1994 – 1999: Reported to vice president of sales and managed staff of 50 employees. Recruited and trained 30 in-house sales agents and support staff. My team increased annual sales from $3,000,000 to $40,000,000 million in two and a half years. Designed and developed database for sales force automation, sales support, and customer provisioning program. The in-house sales force of 18 agents in my first year as manager out-produced 1,000 independent sales agents who had been working for the company for several years. To the year of 2002 (3 years after I left) this department was the most profitable department of Telegroup/Primus company.

Senior Account Manager 1993-95: Top in-house sales agent with $2.4 million in annual sales in 18 months. I was the first agent in the company to build personal sales beyond the company base salary. Large corporate customers included Occidental Petroleum. Other large customers included international agencies of the U.S. government  USA AID.

ITG 1988 to 2001 International Trading group: Top  Account manager every year number 2 of 100 local brokers and number seven nationwide of  almost 1000 brokers.

IRA Construction: 1997 to current: Ira has been involved in many land developments and construction has hand many successful projects, building homes and commercial properties. In Hood River Oregon Ira developed a $17,000,000 commercial hotel property. He filled in as manager to created the highest profit level in the hotels history. Ira created and managed a hotel night club among other duties for two years.
